C and S – Edmonton engagement photography

It has been forever since I have posted an engagement session. This was an incredible fall day. C and S wanted some beautiful field photos, a funky chair and their dog. We trudged through the river valley with all of this looking for the best locations.

I have known S for many years working with both him and his family. It was wonderful to meet C and to talk with her about her photo ideas. I will say that S planned an amazing engagement. It involved a surprise trip to Europe, and a proposal in an amazing location. Who could ask for anything more romantic!!

“I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my first session with Cindy Gannon. After getting some regular headshots done, I knew I wanted to hire Cindy again for family pictures. My daughter and I wanted to have some unique and fun mother/daughter pictures taken in celebration of her graduating elementary school. I’ve never before enjoyed being photographed as much as I did with Cindy. She put us both at ease and made us genuinely laugh and smile, which came through beautifully in the pictures. The session was quick and we came out with several proofs that I was excited to see. Then the abundance of products we could choose from was truly astounding. From regular prints to photo creations, photos on canvas, gift cards and even some truly unique items such as jewelry were emailed to us. We got to choose our favorite poses, and decide what prints and products to get with those poses. What a change from the last time I got family portraits done where you were rushed in and rushed into making decisions on the spot. I was able to pick and choose at my leisure, and get as much (or as little) feedback from family as I wanted.
